New retail development project will be constructed near USI
On the West side of Evansville, not far from the University of Southern Indiana, there will one day sit a large, 222-acre developmental project. It will start 200 yards north of the interchange and proceed three miles along the west side of the highway.

USI Provost Linda Bennett withdrew her name from Central Washington University’s (CWU) presidential search after returning from a visit to the campus in October.
The presidential search and screen committee interviewed 11 of the remaining candidates for the University of Southern Indiana’s open president’s position last week.

In the wake of a large, off-campus student alcohol bust, drinking on campus continues to be a problem. “The whole underage bust situation has shed some light on USI students and alcohol. It’s an issue,” one student said.

Sports
As the NFL season rounds the halfway mark, USI students completed their battles for glory on a different sort of gridiron.
While some University of Southern Indiana students sport the USI jersey, sophomore Sean Herron sports a jersey of different sorts. In several weeks Herron will put on the team USA jersey to compete in the World Powerlifting Championships.
Within the next several days, the University of Southern Indiana’s Athletic Department will post an opening for the men’s head soccer coach position.
On October 25, both the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team were crowned GLVC champions as they competed against nine other teams in Rolla, MO.

I hope you all understand the purpose of this page. The reason I want to make this clear is because I feel like there are many misconceptions that surround newspapers and particularly the opinion section.
Slapping the word “awareness” on an experiment or a cause is a good theory, but does not work without proper follow-up and activity.
I am not a technology person. Seriously. I`m the girl who didn’t get texting on her phone for three months because she couldn’t figure out how to put spaces in between her words.
